Project Information

MANT has been actively working for economic & social development of the rural women through formation, stabilization and strengthening of Self Help Groups. Organization believes that SHG is one of the key instruments for empowering women of the marginalized section of the society and has been effectively functioning on this issue for last two decades. MANT has been organizing & conducting several skill & capacity building training programs, workshops, group discussions for Self Help Groups with the objective that they have a general consciousness & awareness on social issues, have information on several income generation activities, have sufficient knowledge to manage the productive natural assets, gain self-reliance to increase the access to & control over natural resources.

1. MANT is working jointly with Directorate of Sericulture, Govt. of Nagaland under Intensive Bivoltine Sericulture Development Project at selected blocks of Dimapur District 2. 496 SHGs formed with tribal women of Puruliya, Bankura, Paschim Midnapore to promote health and health behaviour
